Objective

A dedicated space to showcase my learnings and integration of emerging AI-driven techniques into motion and design practice.

All of what you see are part of everyday workflows or contributed to newfound discovers of how to create new and experimental creative.

What we've done
  1. Created a process for consistent image results in Midjourney (AI generated image creator)

  2. Implemented animations into coursework and shortened pipeline timelines 50%

  3. Maintained fidelity and consistency with brand standards with use of AI applications

  4. Advised and documented continued learnings of wins and opportuities

Creative Process

How to get consistent imagery (3D & 2D illustrations/Abstracts)

1. First we start with a texture prompt

2. You’ll then get something like this:

3. After a few reruns and upscaling, I landed on this:

4.Now that you have your Texture image, you will use this as a “Style Reference”, now describe your scene in plain words

5. Here are the first batch of images I got, feel free to keep going through if you don’t like what you see. For me option 4 was where I wanted to keep pushing. This isometric feeling looked clean and easy to replicate going forward with other prompts.

  1. Once you get a scene, use auto low motion button to animate it, if you want specific motion like drone shot camera movement use “animate manually” and describe the movement.

  1. Once you have your visual, customize in whichever video editor you have, here I’ve created a carousel of abstract visuals pertaining to different modes of transportation.

8. 2D version using the same techniques. (Went with a more gradient abstract icon approach)

Results

While there are many ways and many other asset generators to get consistent assets, this way has served me greatly, is very fast, and the output is amazing. These are not HD, but Midjourney has just released their HD version of videos as the results are amazing.

Conclusion

This is a place to learn and share what I can in a space that still has some growing pains. While what you see is still being brought into traditional tools like After effects and Premiere Pro, there is still value learning and bringing to life something very much in it's infancy and eye catching.
